What We Believe
We believe… the Bible is completely inspired by God, without error, and serves as our authoritative guide for faith and practice.
(2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21)
We believe… there is only one true God-- eternally existing as the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; John 14:16-17)
We believe… as God’s Son, Jesus is both completely man and completely God. (Matthew 1:23; Hebrews 7:26; 1 Corinthians 15:3; Matthew 28:6; Acts 1:11)
We believe… humanity’s sin has separated people from God, and the only way to restore the relationship is forgiveness offered through Jesus Christ, making us right before God and leading us on a life-long path to God. (Romans 5:12-19; Luke 24:47; Titus 3:5-7)
We believe… Jesus established two ordinances for all in his church to follow:
We believe… the baptism in the Holy Spirit is a free gift for all believers that will empower them to live life as a witness of Jesus Christ. (Acts 1:8; 2:4; 19:1-7)
We believe… the church is the body of Christ that universally includes all who are born again, has a mission to evangelize the world, disciples followers of Christ, worships God, and provides Christlike works of compassion to all. (Matthew 28:19-20; 1 Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 4:11-16; James 1:27)
We believe… Jesus will return, judge the world, and begin a time of eternal relationship with those who follow Him and eternal separation from those who choose not to follow. (1 Thessalonians 4:16,17; Revelation 20:11-13; 2 Peter 3:13)
- Water baptism after salvation (Matthew 28:19; Acts 10:47,48)
- Participating in Holy Communion (1 Corinthians 11:26)

Our Core Values
We believe that the Bible is our ultimate source of authority in faith and practice. We believe that lives are changed through the preaching and the teaching of God’s word. (Isaiah 40:8; Acts 2:42-43)
Both private and corporate prayer are essential for the spiritual growth of individuals and the church. We seek to teach and practice prayer in every area of the church. (Matthew 7:7-11; Acts 2:42)
We seek to fulfill God’s purpose for our church through the power of the Holy Spirit. All of our actions are fruitless without the Spirit’s power that Jesus promised to His followers. (Acts 1:8 Zechariah 4:6)
God created his church to be a body of believers that support and strengthen each other in all areas. We strive to build loving relationships that permeate every aspect of church life. (John 13:34-35; Acts 2:44-46)
We believe that God commands us to share the good news of Christ with those around us so that they might come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ. We will strive to create individual believers and a church that are Christ’s ambassadors to a lost world. (Acts 2:47; Matthew 28:19)
Jesus commands His church to make fully devoted followers of Christ. We are committed to helping people develop a life of godliness in all areas of their lives. (Matt. 28:19-20; Philippians 1:6)
We strive to be culturally relevant while maintaining God’s eternal truth. Our desire is to communicate the good news of Jesus in a way that our culture can understand. (John 1:14; I Corinthians 9:19-23)
God expects us to offer our best to Him, since He offered his best in giving us His Son. We desire to offer only our best in church ministry to honor His name and inspire people. (Colossians 3:17; Malachi 1:6-14)
God desires that we take care of both the spiritual and physical needs of people. We seek to minister to those who are in need both within and outside the church. (Lamentations 3:19-24; Matthew 25:35-40)
God has uniquely created and spiritually gifted every member of this church. We seek to equip all our members to effectively minister in their gifts and God-given abilities. (Romans 12:4-8; Ephesians 4:11-13)
