Our Values

  • Biblical Authority: We believe that the Bible is our ultimate source of authority in faith and practice. We believe that lives are changed through the preaching and the teaching of God’s word. (Isaiah 40:8; Acts 2:42-43)
  • Prayer: Both private and corporate prayer are essential for the spiritual growth of individuals and the church. We seek to teach and practice prayer in every area of the church. (Matthew 7:7-11; Acts 2:42)
  • Spirit Empowerment: We seek to fulfill God’s purpose for our church through the power of the Holy Spirit. All of our actions are fruitless without the Spirit’s power that Jesus promised to His followers. (Acts 1:8 Zechariah 4:6)
  • Community: God created his church to be a body of believers that support and strengthen each other in all areas. We strive to build loving relationships that permeate every aspect of church life. (John 13:34-35; Acts 2:44-46)
  • Evangelism: We believe that God commands us to share the good news of Christ with those around us so that they might come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ. We will strive to create individual believers and a church that are Christ’s ambassadors to a lost world. (Acts 2:47; Matthew 28:19)
  • Discipleship: Jesus commands His church to make fully devoted followers of Christ. We are committed to helping people develop a life of godliness in all areas of their lives. (Matt. 28:19-20; Philippians 1:6)
  • Relevance: We strive to be culturally relevant while maintaining God’s eternal truth. Our desire is to communicate the good news of Jesus in a way that our culture can understand. (John 1:14; I Corinthians 9:19-23)
  • Excellence: God expects us to offer our best to Him, since He offered his best in giving us His Son. We desire to offer only our best in church ministry to honor His name and inspire people. (Colossians 3:17; Malachi 1:6-14)
  • Compassion: God desires that we take care of both the spiritual and physical needs of people. We seek to minister to those who are in need both within and outside the church. (Lamentations 3:19-24; Matthew 25:35-40)
  • Ministry Involvement: God has uniquely created and spiritually gifted every member of this church. We seek to equip all our members to effectively minister in their gifts and God-given abilities. (Romans 12:4-8; Ephesians 4:11-13)
